December Drought

Even though it’s winter, half of our watershed is still in a drought, worsening to Level 2–Significant Drought in November. This unusual December drought highlights the long-term, devastating effects of severe drought conditions we saw this year, and underscores the need for statewide, coordinated drought management to protect our rivers. What can you do? Conserve water and explore ways to take action.
