JANUARY 13
Brown bag lunch on Integrated Watershed Management Modeling
with guest speakers Viktoria Zoltay and Richard Vogel of Tufts, 12:30pm at CRWA's office
The presentation will discuss two different models of decision-oriented watershed modeling approaches. One model screens a broad range of technical, economic and policy management options within a watershed system framework, and selects the optimal combination of management strategies for designing a sustainable watershed management plan. This model integrates both natural and human elements of a watershed system. A second study will introduce how a detailed distributed hydrologic model based on very small scale ‘management cells’ can be used to optimize the location and number of best management practices for the purpose of stormwater management.
